The Business Showcase South West is the largest free business event in the South West. With over 220 exhibitors and 2750 delegates expected to attend the event on 11th October. The event is set to be huge.
Below we breakdown the five highlights not to miss at this October’s event. Here goes…
1. THE BIG GUYS
Facebook will be delivering a keynote speech and a workshop on Facebook & Instagram for Business. Google will also be offering two free workshops. One on Social Media for Business and the other on Google Analytics. If you hate the importance of social media and engaging your audience then avoid the queues and hit the lunch stand.
2. NETWORKING
The event provides delegates with numerous opportunities to network throughout the day. Starting at 07:30 for the early rises, the Breakfast Network event provides a great opportunity to meet regional businesses and pitch your business. This is a paid for event, get your tickets here. There are a further two speed networking sessions at 11:45 and 1:45.
3. SEMINARS
A whopping 8 seminars for delegates to choose from. Daniel Edmund from TedX will be presenting his ‘Dare to Disrupt’ seminar with other seminar topics ranging from GDPR to what sales people can learn from video games.
4. THE FREE STUFF
There’s no denying that you want to leave with some good swag. Copious amounts of pens, cookies, chocolates and notepads have your name on it. Bring plenty of business cards to enter some competitions and you may strike it lucky.
5. OUR STAND
Shameless plug, I know, but here is why you should visit us on stand DS1. We have a cocktail arcade game, which is back for another event (see pic below). Last year saw the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees, set a high score. Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 high scores. We also have some outstanding giveaways including power banks, Tiles, travel mugs, golf umbrellas and an Apple iWatch.
